Birthday yay! Router boo.
Jan. 6th, 2007 01:07 pmHappy birthday to
byob_kenobi! I hope you have a great day!
So I finally went out and bought a wireless router to hook to my cable internet. I tried hooking it up and...no go. Apparently, my internet dies whenever it is hooked to the router. I've restarted the modem. I've unplugged it and let it sit for a while. Nothing. The router can't get internet from my modem even when all my lights are green and all the cables are tightly connected. Not only that but when I unhook everything and go back to the regular ethernet line to my laptop, the highspeed isn't so high or speed anymore. I've redone my settings and 'fixed' the connection twice. So there's fifty bucks well spent, don't you think?
*sigh*
I also bought a bookcase to put together so I'll have someplace to put all my DVDs out of the way. Hopefully.
