Turkeys...like for real
Nov. 24th, 2006 12:30 amI hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I went home the past two days, but had to come back because I was scheduled to work tonight. On the ride home, when I entered the National Park, I saw a flock of wild turkeys. They know better to be on unprotected land on this day of the year. :D Work was dead like a doornail and it was all I could do to get by until midnight. I think it was so slow, they let everyone go at midnight whether they were supposed to stay until one or not.
I did get a chance to watch SGA while I was home.

I guess it's the official start to the silly season now. I'm sure there's some people out there planning to get up in a few hours and go shopping. Not me. I have some groceries to buy, but I'm staying firmly away from the stores. (Which is kind of sucky seeing as how I really need to buy a new mouse for my computer... I left my other one at home.) I suppose I'll just have to get by with the crappy travel size one and my laptop's touchpad until this weekend blows over.
Speaking of Christmas...when is the Dr. Who Christmas special supposed to be coming out? I'm dying for more Who, not that I'm not enjoying Torchwood, but last ep left me kind of cold. I want Sci-fi not Torchwood: Criminal Intent.
