Turkeys...like for real

daughtershadeI hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I went home the past two days, but had to come back because I was scheduled to work tonight. On the ride home, when I entered the National Park, I saw a flock of wild turkeys. They know better to be on unprotected land on this day of the year. :D Work was dead like a doornail and it was all I could do to get by until midnight. I think it was so slow, they let everyone go at midnight whether they were supposed to stay until one or not.
I did get a chance to watch SGA while I was home.

amiguriken put, it was just too neat. Now they have 3 ZPMs and the Ancients are taken care of. Whooptie do. I liked seeing Jack, but he's been phoning it in for about 3 seasons now, so I didn't expect much. I love RDA, but come on. I'm also curious as to what's going to happen next season since they won't have SG-1 to draw from. I know that they're still considering doing the SG-1 movie, so I don't expect they'll be tearing down the sets yet, but they won't have that other cast to back them up either. As for the casting spoilers...well, I have a wait and see attitude, but I'm skeptical. We shall see. I still think they should bring over Vala and Cam...I mean it's not like we're watching SG-1 for anything else right now.
I guess it's the official start to the silly season now. I'm sure there's some people out there planning to get up in a few hours and go shopping. Not me. I have some groceries to buy, but I'm staying firmly away from the stores. (Which is kind of sucky seeing as how I really need to buy a new mouse for my computer... I left my other one at home.) I suppose I'll just have to get by with the crappy travel size one and my laptop's touchpad until this weekend blows over.
Speaking of Christmas...when is the Dr. Who Christmas special supposed to be coming out? I'm dying for more Who, not that I'm not enjoying Torchwood, but last ep left me kind of cold. I want Sci-fi not Torchwood: Criminal Intent.
