Man. You don't understand. My dad was a mechanic. I own a 1940 Ford Coupe that we're restoring. My mom and dad were founding members of the Asheville "Street 'Tiques" antique car club. You don't mess with a vintage car. The Impala (since they showed it was dad's in the pilot) is probably stock which means it's worth more... and now.... *cries*
