Not dead...honest.

So I'm in the process of looking for another job. It's not that the work is bad, it's just I'm not sure I can continue to have a 40 hr a week job and still do well in school. I need to cut back, and they don't have part time at this place. You'd think employers would be happy to have part-time work since you don't have to pay medical or benefits, but apparently not. The other annoying thing about work is that we can't read or anything on the job. So I find myself writing in my notebook. I have written so many half baked stories that I'll probably never type up just to stave off boredom.
I've worked on ideas for stories I already have in progress, wrote 7 pages of Smallville fic introducing Roy Harper to Ollie, planned out the next few pages of the Superpretty comic which I'll be working on tomorrow while I'm off, wrote 9 pages of SG-1 amnesia fic, tried plotting out the idea I have for an original novel, wrote three pages of a Supernatural/X-men crossover which I hit a wall on, and finally just last night, I wrote 6 pages of a Spike/Xander cliche story. None of these are of course helping with the numerous fic that I have sitting on my hard drive here at the apartment.
I think living here has started to get to me. I still haven't made any friends or anything, so I spend all my time either at work or home wasting time until I have to go to work. It's starting to get depressing and having to work on holidays with this job is not helping. I really need to find someplace else that's a little more school schedule friendly so that hopefully I can pay my rent and still manage to go home when I need to.
